Federal Drug Trafficking Penalties
In simple drug possession cases involving small quantities of certain controlled substances, federal prosecutors and district attorneys may offer plea agreements in exchange for reduced charges and/or lighter penalties. Drug offenses of this kind are much more complex than possession cases because they involve large quantities of drugs trafficked that enhances the severity of potential penalties. Drug crime cases are generally charged as a felony offense punishable by lengthy prison terms and substantial fines.
If you have been accused of conspiracy to traffic drugs, it is important to contact an experienced Drug Crime Lawyer who can assist you in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of your case and creating a solid defense strategy. Just because you were arrested together with other people for conspiring to traffic drugs does not mean that you are guilty. Drug Conspiracy Attorney Rolando Cantú can help you fight these charges.
